Service Immersion Trip Applications Close Tomorrow!

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is excited to host the 3rd Service Immersion trip from May 14-20 in New Orleans, LA. The first two years of service have been an amazing experience for the students involved and this year we’re hoping it’ll be even better. During our trip we will do service projects in areas that are still recovering from Hurricane Katrina while experiencing the NOLA culture. If you are interested in further details please see the PowerPoint in the following link or feel free to reach out to me.

Applications to participate are available on OrgSync using this link, and they will be open until January 31st.

Apply For the Service Immersion Trip!

The Panhellenic Association and the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life are proud to offer an opportunity to develop as a person and as a leader through our first service immersion trip to New Orleans from May 8-14, 2016.  A service immersion trip is an opportunity for an intensive week of service, cultural immersion, and values exploration that challenges participants to learn about the world and also themselves.  It is also an excellent way to network and bond with women in different sororities at Penn State and hopefully reflect on the experiences that you have on the trip as they relate to the values of our organizations.  During this particular trip, we’ll be volunteering with a few local non-profits, as well as taking some tours of New Orleans, and spending time in the French Quarter.

Applications are due March 18th.
