Post a picture of yourself and a girl from another chapter to promote Panhellenic Pride and say in your caption what you love about being part of Panhellenic! Both of you have to be wearing your chapter’s letters. To get credit for your post, tag @pennstatephc and hashtag your chapter (#Chapter) and #PanhelPride. You can post on Instagram and Twitter; however, you cannot just share your Instagram picture to your Twitter account. The first place chapter will receive $200 to their THON total, and the second place team will receive $100 for their total. The contest lasts all week (12:01 a.m. Monday – 11:59 Saturday), so be sure to show your Panhellenic Pride!

Sign up for the Panhellenic Day of Service on October 17!
The Panhellenic Day of Service was created last year and will continue as a tradition with Penn State Panhellenic. This year, there are 25 service sites ranging from a variety of service activities. Some activities include cleaning up highways, helping with yard work at Juniper Village, and doing trail work at the Arboretum. Members will also run stands at the community festivals on Allen Street that day.
Vice President for Community Development, Kathleen Rowan, says, “I am extremely excited to have organized the Panhellenic Day of Service. With over 25 service sites and 300 volunteers, it truly exemplifies the phrase ‘power in numbers’.”
Members from all of the 21 chapters at Penn State will be participating in the Panhellenic Day of Service. Rowan continues, “In doing a large scale day or service with members of every sorority at Penn State, we hope to give back to the community that we call home during our time spent at school. All the sites and activities are unique, yet they are all done in hopes of improving an already incredible community.”
